Toy Story 1 & 2 (3D)

As you probably have already heard by now (if you’re a Pixar fan at least), Disney is re-releasing both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 this October in 3D. Both of the movies were completely re-rendered in 3D using all of the original files and will be shown back-to-back (with a break inbetween them) in theaters for just a few weeks. Yahoo has debuted the official theatrical trailer for this double feature and it’s quite fun to watch (just like the trailer for Toy Story 3). I got to see the opening scene of Toy Story 2 in 3D at Comic-Con and I will say it does look incredible and I will be watching both of these in theaters come October. Enjoy!

Ninja Assassin

Raizo (Rain) is one of the world’s deadliest assassins, having been kidnapped as a child and raised by the Ozunu Clan, believed by the world to be a myth. When Raizo’s friend is executed by the clan, Raizo flees into hiding. He later reemerges, seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) is a Europol agent who investigates money linked to political murders and finds that it is linked to the Ozunu Clan. She defies her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), and retrieves secret agency files to find out more. The clan, finding out about the investigation, attempts to assassinate her, but she is rescued by Raizo. Hiding in Europe, Raizo and Mika must find a way to take down the Ozunu Clan.

Tron Legacy

Tron Legacy is directed by first-time filmmaker Joseph Kosinski. The screenplay was co-written by Adam Horowitz (“Lost”), Richard Jefferies (Blood Tide, Living Hell), Edward Kitsis (“Lost”), and the director of the original movie, Steven Lisberger. This first got the greenlight last year after this teaser above played so well at Comic-Con. Disney is bringing Tron Legacy to theaters in late 2010, although a date isn’t set yet.
